Welcome to Ration Mela (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website [www.rationmela.com] and the services we provide, including retail grocery delivery, B2B wholesale supplies, and bulk event orders within Lucknow.

By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Account Registration and User Responsibilities

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to register, create an account, and make purchases on Ration Mela.

  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (including delivery address in Lucknow and contact details) during the registration and checkout process.

  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Products, Pricing, and Availability

  • Product Descriptions: We strive to display product images, descriptions, and ingredients as accurately as possible. However, actual product packaging may vary from the images shown.

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR). While we aim to provide the best wholesale and retail discounts, prices and availability of products are subject to change without prior notice due to market fluctuations (especially for agricultural commodities like dal, chawal, atta).

  • B2B and Event Pricing: Special wholesale rates and bulk discounts are applicable only to verified B2B partners, caterers, and bulk event orders. We reserve the right to verify your business status before approving B2B rates.

3. Order Placement and Cancellation

  • Acceptance of Orders: Your receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not signify our final acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to accept, modify, or decline your order for any reason, including stock unavailability or delivery constraints.

  • Cancellations by Customer: You may cancel your order before it has been dispatched from our warehouse. Once the order is out for delivery, cancellations may not be accepted.

  • Cancellations by Ration Mela: We reserve the right to cancel any order due to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or restricted delivery zones within Lucknow.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Delivery Area: Currently, Ration Mela delivers exclusively within the city limits of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

  • Delivery Timelines: We aim to deliver standard retail orders within the promised timeframe (same-day or next-day). B2B and bulk event orders require prior scheduling. We are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather, traffic, or strikes.

  • Delivery Charges: Free delivery may apply based on minimum order values or specific promotional offers. Applicable delivery charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

5. Payments and Billing

  • We accept payments via UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and Cash on Delivery (COD).

  • For large B2B or event bulk orders, an advance payment or partial deposit may be required before dispatch.

  • All B2B transactions will be provided with a valid GST invoice.

6. Returns and Refunds

Our return and refund processes are governed by our separate Refund and Returns Policy. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also acknowledge and accept our Return Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

Ration Mela shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our website or products. Our maximum liability to you for any claim related to a product shall not exceed the purchase price of that specific product.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Ration Mela shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
