At Ration Mela, we understand that when you order groceries or business supplies, timely delivery is just as important as the quality of the products. We have built a robust, in-house delivery network to ensure your orders reach you fresh, safe, and right on schedule.

Please read our shipping policy below to understand our delivery process, timelines, and charges.

1. Where Do We Deliver? (Delivery Zones)

Currently, Ration Mela exclusively serves the city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. We provide doorstep delivery to all major residential areas, commercial hubs, and event venues across the city limits (including Gomti Nagar, Indira Nagar, Alambagh, Hazratganj, Ashiyana, and more).

(Note: We do not currently ship orders outside of Lucknow. If you are a B2B client from a neighboring district, please contact our support team for custom transport arrangements.)

2. Delivery Timelines

We have optimized our delivery schedules to suit the specific needs of our different customer segments:

• Retail Grocery Orders (B2C – Households):

  • Same-Day Delivery: Orders placed before 12:00 PM (Noon) are typically delivered the same day by evening.

  • Next-Day Delivery: Orders placed after 12:00 PM will be delivered the next day between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

• Wholesale & Kirana Orders (B2B):

  • Bulk supplies for shops and restaurants are usually dispatched and delivered within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the order volume and stock availability.

• Events & Functions (Weddings, Bhandaras):

  • Bulk event deliveries are scheduled according to your specific requirements. We deliver directly to your marriage lawn, hotel, or home at the exact date and time you request to ensure the ingredients are fresh for your caterers.

3. Shipping Charges

We love offering free delivery to our loyal customers! Here is our standard shipping fee structure:

• Retail Orders:

  • FREE Delivery on all orders above ₹1499.

  • A nominal flat delivery fee of ₹100 applies to orders below ₹1499.

• B2B / Wholesale Orders:

  • FREE Delivery for all wholesale orders above ₹10,000.

  • For B2B orders below this amount, a flat freight charge of ₹250 will be added.

• Event Orders:

  • Delivery charges for event venues are customized based on the order size and distance. Most large-scale event orders qualify for free direct-to-venue delivery.

4. Order Tracking and Updates

You will never be left guessing where your ration is!

• Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an SMS and WhatsApp notification.

• When your order is out for delivery, you will receive another update with the expected arrival time and the delivery executive’s contact details.

5. Packaging & Safety Standards

Your health is our priority.

• All retail pulses, rice, and flours are packed in secure, food-grade packaging to prevent moisture and contamination.

• Liquid items (like oils and ghee) are safely sealed to prevent leaks during transit.

• B2B bulk sacks and cartons are delivered completely sealed and untampered, directly from the source.

6. Receiving Your Order

• Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order.

• At the time of delivery, we request you to quickly check the items against your invoice. If you notice any damaged packaging or missing items, please inform the delivery executive immediately or contact our support team within 48 hours.
