Refund and Returns Policy
At Ration Mela, your satisfaction is our top priority. We are committed to delivering the highest quality groceries, wholesale supplies, and household essentials right to your doorstep in Lucknow.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help with a simple and transparent return and refund process.
1. Conditions for Returns
We accept return requests under the following circumstances:
Damaged or Defective Goods: The product packaging is torn, leaking, or damaged upon delivery.
Expired Products: The item delivered has passed its expiry date.
Incorrect Items: The product delivered does not match the item you ordered.
Quality Issues: The product quality (e.g., pulses, rice, flour) does not meet the promised standards.
2. Timeframe for Returns
To ensure a smooth process, please initiate your return request within the specified timeframes:
Groceries & Staples (Dals, Rice, Flours, Spices): Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Household & Cleaning Supplies: Must be reported within 3 days of delivery.
3. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
Products that have been opened, partially consumed, or used.
Items without their original packaging, tags, or invoice.
Products damaged due to mishandling or improper storage after delivery.
4. Special Policy for Events & B2B Bulk Orders
We understand that it is difficult to accurately estimate the exact amount of ration needed for weddings, bhandaras, and large functions.
Surplus Returns: We accept returns of unopened, fully sealed sacks, tins, or cartons left over after your event.
Adjustment: The value of the returned sealed goods will be refunded or adjusted against your final billing. Please notify us within 24 hours after the event concludes to arrange a pickup.
5. How to Initiate a Return
Returning an item is quick and easy:

Share Details: Provide your Order ID and a clear photograph or video of the product showing the issue.
Pickup: Once your request is approved, our delivery executive will collect the item directly from your location in Lucknow at no extra cost.
6. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will immediately process your refund.
Online Payments (UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking): The refund will be credited back to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank.
Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunds for COD orders will be processed via UPI transfer or added to your Ration Mela digital wallet for future purchases, based on your preference.
